Can you help with an easy fundraiser to help get our Community Garden going?

We have in-principle agreement to our plans for the community garden and at the moment these  plans are being re-drawn to scale and a few things moved around to satisfy Council’s flood requirements.  They should be finalised shortly and then the official license agreement of the site should come through without delay. The cost of the licensing agreement with Council is $100 but we are able to offset the cost of this license if we  take part in the 2013 Rise and Shine Community Clean up campaign before 30th November.

Balgownie Community Village Garden is registered to take part in this Clean Up on Sunday 17th November commencing at 9 am. Balgownie is generally a very clean environment so it was difficult to select a local area which needs cleaning. After much deliberation and inspection, we decided on Fairy Creek adjacent to the pedestrian bridge at the rear of Guest Park.

If you can spare some time on Sunday 17th November, please let me know as soon as possible by filling out the form below.

Remember to wear sturdy footwear such as boots or joggers, sunscreen, hats and sunglasses.

Gloves such as sturdy gardening gloves should be worn during the Clean Up.

Other safety information will be given to you on the day.
